Letter to the Second Grade Parents:

AUGUST-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER

    October 5, 2009          

     Off to another great school year, 2009-2010.  I will be teaching the Second Grade, and I am very excited to have  Mrs. Warner assisting me.

After teaching the Fifth Grade for 27 years, I have found Second Graders to have a whole new set of needs and characteristics.  They are fascinating.

I like what I’ve seen so far. We have been very busy teaching reading, math, language, spelling, social studies and science.  We have met all of our parents, and they are just as excited as we are. 

We have the common goal of wanting the best for our students.  If we have any concerns about your son or daughter, we will get in touch with you.  And the same goes for you.  Any concerns, please let us know.
