Welcome to our second grade class at Hobe Sound Elementary School in Hobe Sound, Florida.

Our Beautiful Butterfly

We raised over 20 Monarch Butterflies in our classroom. We watched the metamorphosis from egg, to caterpillar (larva) to chrysalis (pupa) to adult butterfly.

Our HSE Nature Trail

We had a wonderful experience at the Nature Trail. The students selected an area of the nature trail to photograph and then wrote stories about their discovery.

Peaceful and Quiet

This scenic area is unspoiled and tranquil.

Plant Life

We viewed many varieties of native plants along the nature trail. We are so fortunate to have the nature trail on our school site.

Audubon Committee

Many thanks to the Audubon Committee for the wonderful chance to view nature at the HSE Nature Trail.
