Mrs. Molter has been working for HSE for 11 years.  She has been an asset to our school.  She is involved with Evening of the Stars, ENN, and Audubon.  She was also our Employee of the year for 2003-2004!

Each morning, selected 5th grade students broadcast a school-wide news program that includes important school events, messages from the administration, sports, Word of the Week, weather, lunch menu and various guests. Students are responsible for on air coverage, camera work, production, and all the behind-the-scenes activities. Mrs. Parrilli, our Media Specialist and Mrs. Molter, our media assistant, supervise the crew.

   Sunshine State Young Reader's Award Program 

This statewide reading motivator was developed for students in grades 3-5. Students that read a minimum of 3 books will be voting (statewide) for their favorite book. Trophies will be given out at year-end assemblies for those students reading the required number of books (3rd grade- 5 books, 4th grade - 10 books, and 5th grade - 15 books).

Florida Reading Association Children's Book Award

Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students participate in the FRA program. These books will be read to the students during the course of the year. The students can vote for their favorite book at the end of the year.
